This Privacy Policy explains how MediVault (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the MediVault mobile application.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect your name and email address to secure your login into the application. All medical records, lab reports, radiology images, prescriptions, appointment, chronic conditions, medical incidents and vaccination are all saved locally on your smart device. We don’t have any access to this data. This applies to the user’s own data as well as all data related to the user’s family members.
2. USE OF INFORMATION
Data is used to provide the timely reminders for medications and medical appointments. We do not have any access to the other user’s personal data.
3. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
All data is stored locally on the user’s device. The user can export the data completely or partially to any other location. The exported data is encrypted. The encryption is linked to the user’s access credential or a password defined by him during export/import.
4. USER RIGHTS
You can clear your data or delete your account from within the App. In this case, all data stored locally on the user’s phone will no longer be accessible.
5. DATA RETENTION
This section describes our data retention practices.
Health and medical data stored on your device. Medical records, lab reports, radiology images, prescriptions, appointments, chronic conditions, medical incidents, vaccinations, and related family-member data are stored locally on your device. We do not store or retain this user data on our servers. This data remains on your device until you delete it, clear the app data, uninstall the app, or delete your account.
Account information. If you create an account, we retain your name and email address for as long as your account remains active so we can provide login and account services. When you delete your account from within the App, we delete this account information from our systems within 30 days, unless a longer retention period is required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.
Exported copies. Encrypted exports you create are stored only in the location you choose. We do not retain copies of those exports.
We do not retain user health data after you remove it from your device or delete your account, except where we are legally required to keep limited account records.
6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 16 years of age.
7. CHANGES
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
